Maintenance Engineer & Technician – Calcium Carbonate Production Lines – Albara
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer and Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar, focusing on Calcium Carbonate production lines. This role is essential for ensuring equipment reliability and optimizing production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment performance logs.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Train junior maintenance staff on best practices and safety.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (for engineers) or relevant technical diploma (for technicians).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in Calcium Carbonate or similar powder production plants.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
