Operations Manager (FM – Technical) – acciona
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to oversee Facilities Management (FM) operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, combined with expertise in hard and soft FM services, ensuring the school environment is safe, compliant, and operationally efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Technical Management
· Oversee the full scope of Facilities Management operations, with a strong focus on technical (hard services) including HVAC, electrical, MEP systems, and building infrastructure.
· Ensure all systems are maintained to optimal performance through planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
· Manage subcontractors and service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
Soft Services Oversight
· Supervise delivery of soft services, including:
· Housekeeping
· Pest control
· Waste management
· Security
· Porter services
· Ensure services are aligned with school operational requirements and safety standards.
Commercial & Client Management
· Maintain strong client relationships with school management, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
· Demonstrate commercial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
· Identify opportunities for service improvement and cost optimization.
Compliance & Safety
· Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and statutory requirements (Qatar-specific).
· Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
· Promote a culture of safety across all operations.
