Engineering Lead (Pipeline) – Airswift

Job Purpose

The Pipeline Engineering Lead will oversee pipeline engineering activities for the Offshore Project. This role ensures all technical requirements including specifications, stress analysis, and data sheets are met in alignment with project deliverables and standardized processes. The Pipeline Engineering Lead will also support functional safety design and collaborate across disciplines to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure contractor’s pipeline designs (onshore and subsea) comply with contract requirements, codes, and standards.
2. Plan and schedule pipeline engineering deliverables to support efficient project execution and alignment with company policies.
3. Supervise contractor’s functional safety designs for subsea and onshore facilities within offshore scope.
4. Participate in design workshops (e.g., HAZOP, SIL, LOPA) and ensure recommendations are implemented and actions closed.
5. Manage engineering interfaces between topsides, jackets, drilling, operations, and pipelines.
6. Support procurement activities related to pipeline systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing facilities.
7. Monitor contractor progress and document delivery within pipeline engineering disciplines.
8. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure technical deviations are endorsed and compliant.
9. Ensure adherence to management of change procedures for design modifications or deviations.
