Senior / Junior Field Service Engineer (ABB Systems)
ð Location: Doha Office & Offshore Platforms, Qatar
ð Contract: 1 Year (Extendable)
ð Mobilization: Immediate
We are seeking talented Field Service Engineers with strong expertise in ABB 800xA and controllers (AC800M, AC800MHI, S Plus, Infi90) to join our team.
ð§ Key Responsibilities
Perform onsite service of low–medium complexity on 800xA Automation Systems for process automation control applications.
Troubleshoot equipment & process failures and recommend proactive solutions.
Implement cybersecurity solutions (hardening, antivirus, patch management, backup management).
Prepare project deliverables (FDS, BOL, GA drawings) ensuring quality standards.
Support hardware & application engineering, HMI engineering, library development, 3rd party communication, testing & commissioning.
Work with protocols: Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, GOOSE.
ð Qualifications
Graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Technology.
3–10 years hands-on experience with ABB System 800xA and hardware (mandatory).
Relevant certifications: ABB product certifications, FSMS, TÜV.
Strong background in design, engineering, and commissioning.
