Wellness Manager – Caravane Earth

JOB PURPOSE:

The Wellness Manager is responsible for developing and implementing wellness initiatives that enhance the guest experience and promote a healthy environment within our resort overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of wellness center and creating a relaxing and rejuvenating environment for guests while ensuring the smooth functioning of all wellness services. The Wellness Manager leads a team of spa professionals, yoga instructors, production team and sets high service standards, and focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

1. Wellness Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the wellness department, ensuring the highest level of service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive wellness strategy aligned with the brand and target market, incorporating fitness, and holistic wellness offerings.
  • Coordinate and manage yoga & wellness appointments, bookings, and scheduling to optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards in all wellness areas and treatments.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Train, and supervise a team of wellness professionals, including therapists, yoga instructor’s admin, and support staff.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and personal growth.

3. Guest Relations and Customer Experience:

  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by providing personalized attention, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews and take appropriate measures to continuously improve service quality.
  • Develop and implement guest loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

4. Treatment and Service Offerings:

  • Collaborate with wellness experts and wellness professionals to design and develop a diverse range of treatments and services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, introducing new and innovative offerings to meet guest preferences and market demands.
  • Ensure treatment protocols are consistently followed, and therapists are trained on new techniques and procedures.

5. Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the wellness budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profitability analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation and cost optimization.
  • Conduct regular inventory management and maintain adequate stock levels of products, equipment, and supplies.

6. Training and Compliance:

  • Ensure all yoga instructors & wellness staff members receive comprehensive training on treatments, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant industry regulations, health codes, and licensing requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, wellness practices, and new spa technologies to continuously enhance services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to wellness programs and services.
