Our Advisory teams support businesses as they restructure and expand, whether organically or by acquisition. We help them to become more efficient and provide support as they adapt to the challenges posed by a rapidly changing business environment. <strong>Summary of the role</strong> The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data from advanced metering instrumentation systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize energy management processes. <strong>Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities</strong> Analyze and interpret data from advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency improvements. Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical methods to analyze large datasets. Design and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to visualize data insights for stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to integrate data analytics into business processes. Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data. Provide technical expertise in metering technologies and contribute to the development of new metering solutions and strategies. Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analytics, metering technologies, and energy management systems. <strong>Qualifications:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Over 10 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on advanced metering instrumentation. Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong understanding of energy systems, metering technologies, and AMI systems. Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and perform complex analyses. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling is a plus.
