Plumber – Alfardan Corporation
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial properties in Qatar. The successful candidate will ensure that water supply, drainage, and related systems operate safely and efficiently while following applicable standards and site procedures.
Job Responsibility:
– Install, inspect, maintain, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and plumbing fixtures.
– Diagnose leaks, blockages, pressure issues, and other plumbing faults, and complete repairs promptly.
– Read and interpret plumbing layouts, technical drawings, and work orders.
– Test completed installations and repairs to check for leaks, correct flow, and safe operation.
– Maintain drainage, water supply, and hot-water systems.
– Select and use plumbing tools, materials, and personal protective equipment safely.
– Coordinate with supervisors, clients, and other trades to complete work according to schedule.
– Keep work areas clean and organized, and report material needs or significant defects.
– Follow workplace health and safety requirements and relevant Qatar regulations and site rules.
Candidate Requirements:
– Previous experience as a plumber; experience in Qatar or the Gulf region is an advantage.
– Knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe materials, fittings, tools, and repair techniques.
– Ability to read basic technical drawings and follow work instructions.
– Good troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills.
– Physically fit and able to work on-site, including in hot conditions, while following safety precautions.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Relevant vocational training or plumbing certification is an advantage.
– Valid Qatar work authorization and a valid driving licence, if required for the role.
