Painter – Alfardan Corporation
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to prepare and apply paint, coatings, and finishes to buildings, equipment, or other surfaces in Qatar. The ideal candidate will work safely, deliver high-quality results, and meet project specifications and deadlines.
Job Responsibility:
– Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling holes, and applying primer.
– Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
– Protect nearby surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings from paint and damage.
– Select appropriate materials and finishes based on project requirements.
– Inspect completed work and correct imperfections to ensure a consistent finish.
– Maintain painting tools and equipment, and keep work areas clean and organized.
– Follow site safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
– Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete work on schedule.
Candidate Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Painter in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
– Knowledge of surface preparation, paint types, application methods, and finishing techniques.
– Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
– Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and specifications.
– Physically fit and able to work at heights or in varied site conditions when required.
– Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
– Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
– Relevant trade training or certification is preferred.
