Electrician – Alfardan Corporation
Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings across Qatar. The successful candidate will work safely, follow applicable local regulations and project specifications, and help ensure reliable operation of electrical equipment and systems.
Job Responsibility:
– Install, inspect, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, electrical panels, motors, and related equipment.
– Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
– Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs or replacements promptly.
– Test circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and ensure installations operate correctly.
– Follow electrical safety procedures, site rules, and applicable Qatar regulations and standards.
– Use hand tools and testing equipment safely and keep them in good working condition.
– Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and completed work.
– Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to support project schedules.
– Report hazards, equipment issues, and materials requirements to the supervisor.
– Keep work areas clean and organized.
Candidate Requirements:
– Technical certificate, diploma, or vocational training in Electrical Installation or a related field.
– Proven experience as an Electrician in construction, facilities maintenance, or an industrial environment.
– Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, testing procedures, and safety practices.
– Ability to read electrical drawings and use electrical testing tools.
– Familiarity with Qatar’s applicable electrical regulations and safety requirements is an advantage.
– Good troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
– Physically able to perform site work, including standing, lifting, and working at heights where required.
– Relevant trade license or certification is preferred.
– Valid Qatar driving license is an advantage.
