Lead Process Engineer – Sofomation FZ
Position: Lead Process Engineer
Location: Middle East
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in the Oil & Gas industry (including at least 4 years in a project management or engineering leadership role).
Job Purpose:
To lead and oversee all process engineering activities within project engineering support, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and coordinate process engineering activities for assigned projects.
· Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements.
· Provide technical support to FEED and EPC contractors during all project phases.
· Liaise with project owners, shareholders, and external stakeholders to align technical requirements.
· Participate in bid evaluations, contract reviews, and project execution planning.
· Implement best engineering practices, tools, and systems for cost-effective execution.
· Support compliance with company project management systems and HSE standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering.
· Strong knowledge of FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering design.
· Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS).
· Excellent communication and leadership skills with multi-discipline coordination experience.
