Hotel Manager – Marina Hotel

We are seeking a seasoned Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of our prestigious hotel in Al Khawr, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all hotel departments, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving profitability. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in hospitality management, who can effectively manage staff, optimize operations, and maintain high standards of service. The Hotel Manager will collaborate with various teams to enhance guest satisfaction, implement innovative marketing strategies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment that reflects the unique culture and hospitality of Qatar.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently and effectively.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
  3. Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated workforce.
  4. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all hotel operations.
  6. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns that attract guests and enhance brand visibility.
  7. Address guest complaints and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  8. Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities to ensure maintenance and cleanliness standards are upheld.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local businesses to enhance service offerings.
  10. Prepare and present regular reports on hotel performance to senior management.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  2. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  3. Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and revenue optimization.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest relations.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with poise.
  6. In-depth knowledge of hotel management software and property management systems.
  7. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective operational policies and procedures.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  10. Passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
