Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician with Kahrama license to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As a critical member of our management consulting firm, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems in our facilities are functioning efficiently and safely. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. You will work closely with other maintenance staff and contractors to ensure that our electrical infrastructure supports our business operations effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local regulations and safety standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
3. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of electrical installations for new projects.
4. Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruption.
5. Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work.
7. Assist in training and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices.
8. Stay updated on the latest electrical codes, technologies, and industry trends to enhance service quality.
9. Work with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary materials and tools for electrical tasks.
10. Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety within the organization.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an electrician, preferably within a corporate or commercial environment.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and safety devices.
3. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose electrical problems quickly and accurately.
4. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
5. Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively with team members and stakeholders.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
7. Relevant certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
