Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the automotive industry and proven experience within the GCC region. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management through accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Handle accounting for vehicle sales, service operations, spare parts, incentives, and commissions
- Monitor and control inventory accounting for vehicles and spare parts, including valuation and aging
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, IFRS, and local statutory requirements
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Maintain strong internal controls and support process improvements
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including Sales, Service, and Operations
- Utilize ERP / Dealer Management Systems for accurate financial tracking and reporting
