Child Nursery Manager – Twinkle Star Nursery
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the well-being and development of children in our care, and managing a team of passionate educators. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment that supports children’s growth and learning.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
– Lead and manage a team of early childhood educators and support staff.
– Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
– Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development
activities.
– Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
Curriculum and Program Development:
– Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that
promote children’s learning and development.
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, adjusting as needed.
– Foster creativity and innovation in teaching practices.
Child Welfare and Development:
– Prioritize the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of each child.
– Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians, addressing their
concerns and needs.
– Create and maintain child portfolios to track developmental progress. Administrative Duties:
– Oversee daily administrative tasks, including enrollment, attendance, and record-keeping.
– Manage budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently.
– Collaborate with the management team on strategic planning and goals.
Health and Safety Compliance:
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe
environment for children and staff.
– Develop and implement emergency procedures and protocols.
