BMS OPERATOR ( SIEMENS SYSTEM) – Associated Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Operator with expertise in Siemens systems to join our dynamic team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring, controlling, and optimizing building management systems to ensure operational efficiency and comfort. This position requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and automation technologies. As a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for the effective management of building operations, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance analysis of the Siemens BMS. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of safety and energy efficiency while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and operate the Siemens Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
2. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of BMS equipment, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
3. Analyze system performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
4. Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement corrective actions and upgrades to the BMS.
5. Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues.
6. Provide technical support and training to team members and other staff on BMS operations and troubleshooting.
7. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies regarding building operations.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of BMS operating procedures and best practices.
9. Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in BMS and automation systems.
10. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of maintenance services and equipment upgrades.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a BMS Operator, specifically with Siemens systems, demonstrating a strong technical background in building management technologies.
2. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues effectively.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
4. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and making informed decisions.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficient in using BMS software and tools, with a good understanding of HVAC and electrical systems.
7. Strong commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in building management.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts as needed to address urgent issues.
10. Relevant certifications in building management systems or related fields are a plus.
