Senior MEP Engineer
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our team in Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering, coordination, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of MEP works associated with commercial kitchen, laundry, hospitality and related electromechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) activities throughout project execution.
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submittals and equipment schedules.
- Coordinate MEP requirements for commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, including electrical loads, water supply, drainage, ventilation, exhaust, gas and other utility connections.
- Review shop drawings and ensure proper coordination between architectural, structural and MEP services.
- Supervise installation of equipment and associated electromechanical services at project sites.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
- Identify technical conflicts and site issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards and project requirements.
- Manage testing, commissioning, inspections, snagging and final handover activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to approved schedules and quality requirements.
- Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, RFIs, inspection requests and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate equipment installation requirements with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and approved site procedures.
- Support preparation and review of as-built drawings, O&M manuals and project close-out documentation.
