Public Relations Officer – Legal

Job Objective

To facilitate all external and internal legal communications and administrative processes, ensuring efficient support for the AFH and its subsidiaries. The role is pivotal in maintaining compliance, supporting legal transactions, and enabling smooth operations across the organization.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Core Tasks

  • Corporate Document Management:
  • Amend and update corporate documents (Commercial Registration, Trade License, Articles of Association) and ensure timely renewals and approvals.  
  • Government Liaison:
  • Serve as the primary contact with ministries and public authorities to submit applications and petitions, resolve transaction errors, process approvals, and maintain compliance. 
  • Promotions Support:
  • Apply for promotions, advertisement approvals, and other regulatory requirements for company subsidiaries, following up with ministries until completion.
  • Lease and Contract Administration:
  • Register and renew lease contracts for subsidiaries, liaise with the municipality, and resolve registration issues.  
  • Document Attestation:
  • Coordinate attestation of legal documents (SPA, POA, AOA, GAM, etc.) at relevant ministries.  
  • Industrial Land Contract Management:
  • Oversee applications and renewals for industrial land contracts, ensuring completion with municipal authorities.  
  • Legal Complaints and Settlements:
  • File criminal complaints (e.g., bounced cheques) online, follow up at police stations, and collect settlement cheques at Public Prosecution.  
  • Periodic Reporting:
  • Prepare and submit regular reports, attend meetings, and handle recurring administrative/legal tasks as required by department needs.

Additional Duties

  • Support the Legal Department in compiling and updating civil defense certificates, title deeds, and other regulatory documents.
  • Assist in the amendment of company names and related documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external authorities.
