Online University Tutors – Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science - Qtutoring

We are recruiting tutors to deliver online, university-level lessons in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science.

Applications from tutors currently based in Jordan and Egypt are particularly welcome. Other qualified remote applicants may also apply.

Applicants may specialize in one or more of the following areas. You are not expected to teach every subject.

Mathematics and Statistics

College algebra, trigonometry and precalculus.
Calculus I and II, linear algebra and discrete mathematics.
Probability, introductory statistics and business statistics.
Applied business mathematics.
Additional expertise in differential equations, multivariable calculus or numerical methods is welcome.

Computer Science and IT

Introductory programming and object-oriented programming.
Data structures and algorithms.
Database design and SQL.
Web development and software engineering fundamentals.
Additional expertise in operating systems, networking, cybersecurity, data science or introductory AI is welcome.

Responsibilities

Deliver individual and small-group online lessons aligned with students’ course outlines.
Explain concepts clearly through worked examples, problem solving or live coding, as appropriate.
Identify learning gaps and adapt lessons to students’ needs.
Prepare practice exercises, support exam revision and provide constructive feedback.
Use suitable digital teaching tools and track student progress.
Maintain punctuality, confidentiality and academic integrity.
