Manager, Special Needs Education Center

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance of Educational Programs: Monitor implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure alignment with student needs. Conduct regular classroom observations to evaluate: Teaching strategies (e.g., ABA techniques, structured teaching), Student engagement and progress, Classroom management and safety. Ensure lesson plans are: Individualized, Measurable, Properly documented.
2. Monitoring Therapy and Intervention Services: Review the quality of services such as Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, and Behavioral therapy. Ensure therapy sessions: Follow approved plans, are properly documented, and show measurable progress.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure adherence to requirements from relevant authorities, such as the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and the Ministry of Public Health (if applicable). Maintain readiness for inspections and audits. Ensure all student records and staff documentation meet compliance standards.
4. Documentation and Reporting Audit: Student files, IEPs, and progress reports. Incident reports. Ensure documentation is: Accurate, Timely, Legally compliant. Prepare monthly quality reports highlighting: Gaps, Risks, Recommendations.
5. Student Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure implementation of: Safeguarding policies, Behavior intervention plans, Monitor handling of: Aggressive behavior, Sensory needs, Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
