Description
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting fund accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain books of accounts and accounting schedulesPerform fund accounting for complex structures (GP/LP, SPVs)Prepare regulatory filings and internal reportsProcess payments and manage banking activitiesSupport budgeting, audits, and investor reportingMaintain documentation in line with internal policiesEnsure compliance with IFRS and US GAAPCoordinate with auditors, banks, and stakeholders
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldProgress towards ACCA, CPA, ACA, or similar preferred3-4 years of accounting experience in funds or asset managementStrong knowledge of IFRS and financial reportingExperience in private equity or fund structures preferredHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and entitiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsFluency in English required; Arabic/French is a plus
