2. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop quality assurance plans that outline inspection criteria and testing procedures for various engineering projects.
3. Utilize advanced quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, to monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
4. Prepare detailed reports on inspection results, providing insights and recommendations to enhance quality performance and reduce defects in engineering deliverables.
5. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality assurance, incorporating new methodologies into existing processes to enhance overall project quality.
6. Train and mentor junior team members on quality control procedures and best practices, fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
7. Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
8. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that materials and services meet quality specifications, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
