Sr. Specification Executive – Almana Group
JOB PURPOSE:
To drive product specification by building strong relationships with architects, consultants, and designers, ensuring the company’s brands and solutions are incorporated into project designs and tender documents, and supporting the conversion of specifications into awarded projects.
KEY RESULTS AREAS / DELIVERABLES & KEY ACTIVITIES:
1.) CONSULTANT & DESIGNER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Build and sustain strategic relationships with key architects, consultants, designers, and developers to position the company as a preferred specification partner.
- Conduct regular visits to design firms and consultancy offices.
- Organize and deliver structured product presentations, workshops, and technical sessions.
- Develop long-term engagement plans for top-tier design consultants.
- Maintain updated contact database of consultants and project stakeholders.
- Strengthen professional networks within the design and construction community.
2.) PROJECT SPECIFICATION & TENDER INCLUSION
Ensure company products and brands are incorporated into project specifications and tender documents from early design stages.
- Work closely with consultants to integrate company solutions into project BOQs and design documents.
- Review tender documents to verify inclusion of company products.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to align specifications with product capabilities.
- Follow up with consultants during design development and revision stages.
- Track specification status through concept, design, and tender phases.
3.) PROJECT PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT & MONITORING
Develop and maintain a strong and measurable pipeline of projects at early design and specification stages.
- Identify new projects through market intelligence, consultants, and project databases.
- Monitor project timelines and specification progress.
- Update and manage project pipeline reports for management review.
- Forecast potential specification-based revenue opportunities.
- Ensure continuous follow-up to maximize conversion potential.
4.) TECHNICAL & PRODUCT SUPPORT
Develop and maintain a strong and measurable pipeline of projects at early design and specification stages.
- Identify new projects through market intelligence, consultants, and project databases.
- Monitor project timelines and specification progress.
- Update and manage project pipeline reports for management review.
- Forecast potential specification-based revenue opportunities.
- Ensure continuous follow-up to maximize conversion potential.
5.) COORDINATION & SPECIFICATION CONVERSION SUPPORT
Support the transition of specified projects to the sales/commercial team to ensure successful conversion into confirmed orders.
- Transfer detailed project information during tender stage.
- Assist commercial team with technical clarifications during bid submissions.
- Participate in tender meetings where required.
- Support negotiation stages with technical input.
- Monitor conversion rate of specified projects into awarded contracts.
6.) BRAND PROMOTION & MARKET INTELLIGENCE
Promote company brands within the design community and provide structured market intelligence to management.
- Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
- Promote new collections, launches, and supplier brands.
- Monitor competitor specifications and project positioning.
- Identify new market segments and design trends.
- Provide structured market feedback reports to management and suppliers.
