Quality Control Manager – MTM Group

Holds full visibility into wellness and facility operations, ERP data, sales revenue performance, and personal trainer teaching effectiveness across every gym and wellness facility. This role continuously reviews, manages, and quality-controls these areas, folding day-to-day risk and compliance considerations directly into routine oversight, then translates findings into specific, actionable improvement recommendations for management. Success in this role depends on precision, objectivity, strong communication, and the ability to hold facility teams and trainers to a clear, consistently applied quality standard.

1. ERP Data Analysis & Quality Control

● Perform ongoing quality control checks on data entered into the ERP system by facility staff, including equipment/tool counts, sales figures, attendance, and inventory

● Cross-check ERP records against physical, on-site conditions to confirm data reflects reality

● Analyze performance data across all locations to detect inconsistencies, errors, or reporting gaps

● Prepare detailed monthly ERP data quality reports for senior leadership

2. Sales Revenue Performance & Improvement

● Review sales revenue performance across all facilities on a monthly basis

● Analyze membership sales, package sales, renewals, and cancellations recorded in the ERP system

● Identify revenue trends, gaps, and underperforming facilities, teams, or individuals

● Recommend specific, actionable improvement measures to sales leadership and senior management

● Track the impact of implemented improvements on subsequent sales performance

3. Personal Trainer Teaching Delivery & Effectiveness

● Observe personal trainers directly during live sessions across all facilities

● Check teaching delivery, technique accuracy, client engagement, safety practices, and professionalism

● Assess each trainer against a defined teaching-effectiveness standard (see Quality Control Standards below)

● Evaluate how effectively each trainer’s delivery translates into visible student progress and satisfaction

● Identify underperforming trainers and recommend retraining, additional coaching, or corrective action

● Verify that newly hired trainers meet the required teaching delivery standard before being fully assigned to clients

4. Wellness & Facility Management Oversight

● Oversee facility conditions, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards across all locations

● Ensure wellness service delivery (spa, massage, beauty, group fitness, and related services) meets defined quality standards

● Coordinate with Facility Maintenance and Division Managers to resolve operational issues affecting member experience

● Monitor and manage day-to-day operational risks as part of routine facility reviews, including data manipulation risk, facility safety hazards, staff resourcing gaps, and compliance gaps, escalating and tracking mitigation directly through monthly reporting

● Ensure compliance with health, safety, and wellness industry regulations across all facilities

● Maintain a practical, ongoing view of where operational risk is highest, and prioritize facility visits and reviews accordingly

5. AUTHORITY & DECISION RIGHTS

To prevent conflict with facility management and ensure findings are acted on, the following defines what this role can decide independently versus what it can only recommend: Can decide independently:

● Immediately suspend a trainer from client sessions where a clear safety risk to a client is observed, pending management review within 24 hours

● Schedule and conduct announced or unannounced facility and trainer reviews at any location without prior facility-manager approval

● Require re-entry or correction of ERP data found to be inaccurate during a review

● Issue documented improvement plans to trainers or staff who fall below the defined standards

Can recommend only (final decision rests with General Manager / CEO):

● Termination or reassignment of a trainer or staff member

● Changes to sales targets, pricing, or membership structures

● Facility-level budget or resourcing decisions

● Disciplinary action against facility managers or senior staff
