HSE Officer – Candidzone Qatar
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer (Road & Infrastructure) to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring workplace safety, compliance with regulations, and the implementation of HSE standards across road and infrastructure projects.
This is a contract-based position with strong potential for extension, offering an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies on-site
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with Qatar safety regulations and project requirements
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all times
Working Duration:
- 6 months (extendable based on project requirements)
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Qatar, specifically in road and infrastructure projects
- Valid experience certificates are mandatory
- NEBOSH IGC and IOSH certifications are required
- Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
- Valid QID copy
- Must be available for immediate joining
