Financial Advisory Business Development
We are seeking a highly connected and commercially driven Business Development Director to lead client origination and relationship development across Qatar and Saudi Arabia for a growing international investment and advisory platform.
The role will focus on developing relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, investment companies, banks, asset managers, financial institutions, corporates and institutional investors. The successful candidate should already possess a meaningful network within the regional financial and investment community and be able to convert those relationships into new advisory mandates, investment opportunities and investor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
– Originate new investment and advisory clients throughout Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
– Develop and maintain senior relationships with family offices, HNW/UHNW investors, institutional investors, asset managers, banks and investment companies.
– Introduce qualified investors to selected venture capital, private equity, private credit and other private-market investment opportunities.
– Build relationships with Saudi and Qatari financial institutions that may act as investors, distribution partners or strategic partners.
– Generate advisory mandates involving capital raising, corporate finance, strategic transactions and cross-border investment.
– Arrange meetings between prospective investors and senior management, fund managers and transaction principals.
– Maintain an active and well-qualified pipeline of prospective investors and advisory clients.
– Identify new investment-product and distribution opportunities based on investor demand.
– Participate in investor presentations, conferences and private meetings and coordinate with international managers and counterparties.
– Maintain disciplined reporting on relationships, meetings, opportunities and expected transaction pipeline.

Candidates should have direct, demonstrable relationships with investors and financial institutions in Qatar, Saudi Arabia or both. Relevant backgrounds may include private banking, wealth management, asset management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, fund distribution or placement, family-office advisory, institutional sales, corporate finance or alternative investments.

Required Experience
– Approximately 7+ years of relevant financial-services, investment or institutional business-development experience preferred.
– Strong existing network of HNW/UHNW investors, family offices and/or financial institutions.
– Demonstrated ability to originate meaningful client relationships and revenue-generating mandates.
– Strong understanding of investment funds, private markets and financial products.
– Ability to communicate credibly with sophisticated investors and senior decision-makers.
– Excellent discretion, commercial judgment and understanding of relationship-driven business development in the GCC.
– Excellent English required; Arabic strongly preferred.
– Existing Qatar and/or Saudi market experience strongly preferred.

What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will build a substantial pipeline of qualified investors, fund and co-investment introductions, advisory mandates, institutional partnerships, family-office relationships, capital-raising opportunities and cross-border investment assignments. This is not a traditional retail-sales position; it is focused on high-value institutional and private-capital relationships.
Compensation
Competitive base compensation based on experience and existing relationships, together with a significant performance-based incentive structure tied to successfully originated business. Exceptional candidates with substantial existing investor relationships may be considered for a senior title and enhanced economics.
