Electrician – Al Faisal Holding

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team in Lusail, Qatar. As a leading management consulting firm, we value the importance of a well-maintained electrical system in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices, and will be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
2. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
3. Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment and hand tools, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
4. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently and safely.
5. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
6. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
7. Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operations.
8. Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and apprentices as needed.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an electrician with a strong portfolio of facilities management.
2. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
6. Certification or licensure as a journeyman electrician is preferred.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
8. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methods in the electrical field.
9. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment when necessary.
