Document Controller – Arabic
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to join our dynamic team in the utilities sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the documentation processes within our organization. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can maintain the integrity of documents, ensuring that they are accurate, accessible, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Document Controller will work closely with various departments to facilitate the flow of information and ensure that all documentation is properly archived and retrievable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective document control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all project documents, including contracts, specifications, and correspondence.
- Review and verify the accuracy of documents before submission, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary documentation and ensure timely updates and revisions.
- Monitor and track the status of documents throughout their lifecycle, from creation to approval and distribution.
- Provide training and support to staff on document control processes and software tools.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure that all documentation is securely stored and backed up to prevent loss of information.
- Work closely with external stakeholders to facilitate document exchange and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Continuously seek improvements in document management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Preferred Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role within the utilities or construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in document management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration and flexibility.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to document control.
- A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and processes.
