Scheduler – Future Pipe Industries
Responsible for the scheduling of production lines and for ensuring the best utilization of machines in terms of efficiency and production on time based on given constraints. Respond to requests for changes and emergencies from Project or Production due to unforeseen issues in the most effective way (balance between cost and lead-time). Collaborate with peers and other areas aiming to improve overall company performance improvement.
Accountable for manufacturing cost through set up optimization. Collaborate on customer service level (on time and in full production) which secure
revenue opportunities.
• Receive demand (orders or proposals) and check whether all required information is provided. If not, reply timely for correction. Allocate demand in the schedules and respond the outcome back to Planners (case of Proposals) or Project (case of orders).
• Schedule production aims to maintain maximum machine efficiency by combining orders into production blocks and to meet client requirements and commitments. In case of no feasibility to meet dates, work with different areas (project and planners) to find alternatives or escalate.

• Align with production and Planners regarding calendar of weekends (overtime) and
holidays to come.
• Follow instruction from Managers regarding necessary delays or insertions that affect
the commitments, keeping record of the reasons for further reference.
• Update in system all relevant information or transaction assigned to the scheduler.
• Ensure all necessary document under scheduler responsibility is available for other
areas in a timely manner.
• Place intercompany orders as required.
• Establish a daily follow-up process with production output (through reports from
production or process control) to update the schedule.
• Inform and meet production to correct deviations (delays); request countermeasures
to compensate for delays. Create a communication flow of deviations or status of production with Project team.
• Communicate with other factories to distribute demand or to follow up on
intercompany orders, deliveries and deadlines.
• As part of Global Planning organization, communicate with planners to align
strategies as well as long term requirements and goals.
• Comply with operational procedures when performing all job tasks and activities.
• Report on a regular basis the status of schedules or capacity allocation through the
reports or formats required by Planners.
• Receive, process and forward any document under scheduler responsibility to the

• Follow standards formats and reports defined by the company and/or Global
Planning Management.
• Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and
procedures.
• Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as
required.
• Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and
instructions.
• Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing tasks.
• Keep offices clean and well organized to prevent incidents or accidents.
• Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations.
