SAP DRC & Tax Compliance Integration Expert – LTM
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) & Tax Integration Specialist to support Qatar-based regulatory compliance initiatives. The role focuses on implementing and managing SAP DRC solutions, integrating with Qatar tax authority systems (General Tax Authority – GTA), and ensuring seamless compliance across customer invoicing, vendor invoicing, and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) processes.
The candidate will play a key role in preparing the organization for evolving Qatar e-invoicing, VAT, and digital reporting requirements, ensuring system readiness and integration excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP DRC Implementation (Qatar Localization)
- Configure and manage SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) for Qatar regulatory requirements.
- Support readiness for electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) and future Qatar digital tax initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with Qatar General Tax Authority (GTA) reporting standards.
2. Tax Portal Integration (GTA)
- Design and manage integrations between SAP and Qatar tax portals (GTA systems).
- Support electronic submission of tax documents including:
- VAT returns (if/when applicable)
- Invoice reporting and compliance submissions
- Implement secure integrations using APIs, XML, and middleware (SAP CPI/PI).
3. Invoice Lifecycle & Integration
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP DRC and:
- Accounts Receivable (Customer Invoicing – SD)
- Accounts Payable (Vendor Invoices – FI/MM)
- Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
- Manage invoice validation, compliance checks, and reporting before submission to tax authorities.
- Ensure audit-ready invoice processing aligned with Qatar regulations.
4. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
- Monitor compliance with Qatar Corporate Tax regulations (introduced 2023).
- Support preparation of:
- Tax reports
- Regulatory filings
- Audit documentation
- Stay updated on upcoming Qatar VAT/e-invoicing mandates and ensure system adaptability.
5. Integration & Technical Coordination
- Work with integration platforms (SAP CPI / PI/PO) to design robust interfaces with external tax systems.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams:
- Finance (FI)
- Sales & Distribution (SD)
- Materials Management (MM)
- VIM
- Support end-to-end integration testing, UAT, and deployment.
6. Issue Resolution & Support
- Provide L2/L3 production support for DRC and tax integrations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to:
- Tax portal connectivity
- Invoice validation errors
- Submission failures
- Liaise with external vendors and Qatar GTA for issue resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on:
- SAP DRC / eDocument / ACR
- Tax compliance solutions
- Hands-on experience in:
- Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Vendor Invoice Management (OpenText VIM preferred)
- Experience integrating SAP with government or tax authority portals.
- Strong understanding of:
- Qatar Corporate Tax framework
- Regional compliance trends (GCC VAT, e-invoicing initiatives)
- Knowledge of middleware:
- SAP CPI / PI / PO
- Familiarity with XML, APIs, and web services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GCC implementations (UAE, KSA, Qatar).
- Exposure to ZATCA (KSA) or UAE e-invoicing frameworks (considered a strong advantage for Qatar readiness).
- SAP S/4HANA experience.
- SAP certification in Finance or Compliance.
