Job Summary
- The Lead Structural Engineer is responsible for structural and foundation design, technical analysis, and /or resolution of engineering problems, and also supervises the documentation of the structural drawings in coordination with the architectural and MEP works.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Lead the structural design process, overseeing the development of design concepts, calculations, and detailed drawings for various building projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to structural engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural requirements seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools to evaluate the performance and stability of building structures under various loading conditions.
- Review and approve structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and coordinate structural engineering tasks, schedules, and budgets to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend innovative structural solutions to optimize project performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Act as a technical liaison between the structural engineering team and other project disciplines, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
