Senior Accountant – Group of Companies
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the accounting and financial reporting for a group of companies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, experience consolidating multi-entity financial statements, and the ability to provide strategic insights to support business decisions across multiple subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple companies within the group.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure consolidation of financial statements across all group entities, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
- Maintain and review general ledger accounts, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for each company and the group as a whole.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax filings, and internal controls.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Identify process improvements and implement accounting best practices across the group.
- Support senior management with financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
