Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Vehicles (Trailers & Tankers) – Al Faisal Holding

Job Purpose:[

To carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy vehicles, including trailers and tankers, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

[Key Responsibilities:[

[ Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles (trailers, tankers, trucks, etc.).

[ Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in diesel engines and associated systems.

[ Overhaul, repair, or replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, clutches, suspensions, and steering systems.

[ Conduct periodic servicing, oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.

[ Ensure proper functioning of air brake systems, fuel injection systems, and cooling systems.

[ Test drive vehicles to verify quality of repairs and maintenance.

[ Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and reports on performed work.

[ Adhere to workshop safety standards and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.

[ Assist in breakdown support, including on-site repairs when required.

[ Report recurring problems and recommend improvements for preventive maintenance.
