Chief Accountant – Group of Companies
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function for a group of companies. The Chief Accountant will oversee all financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage accounting teams, and provide insights to support the group’s financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting operations across all group entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group.
- Ensure intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and adjustments are accurately performed.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures across all companies.
- Manage statutory compliance, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial consultants.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Identify process improvements, streamline accounting operations, and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and adherence to corporate governance standards.
